Mo/W - A quick way to beat the doppleganger.
Hi,
I ran across someone in Seekers who needed help beating his doppleganger
with his Mo/W. If everyone already knows this pls dont flame me too hard.
OK its super easy. Take only two skills.
Deadly Riposte - Bought in fishermans haven. (just North of Sanctum Cay)
Riposte - cap from a boss in Divinity Coast or buy it in copperhammer mines.
Dont take any other skills, leave them empty.
Need any sword. Max tactics and rest in swordsmanship.
Use deadly riposte before you step on the last stone then skip cut and
run straight up to the dopple and attack.
Then start spamming riposte.
15 sec or so later he is dead.
My personal best time was about 10 sec. while i was naked.
You will take some damage with low armor, but ohh well.
I used to use for great justice for the adrenaline gain, but its not needed.
Anyway, for any newbie Mo/W needing ascended, i hope this helps.
Later,
Strom

Ah, I did it with a skill bar of smites in about the same time... was basically a 55 build that any amount of hp could use. Not sure how it'll do now with reduced balth spirit.
There's always the tried and true Healing Breeze + Frenzy though.

The only problem with the is that it requires a run to Copperhammer to get riposte, if you dont have the balthazaars to burn.

I don't recall which build I used exactly, but I used something like a lot of healing spells, but with no points in healing combined with Scourge Healing.

Uhm ... anyone who has a W/anything or a anything/W can win extremely easily against the doppleganger.
Pack Frenzy and nothing else. Don't use it, he will. Raise your weapon attribute to 12 and go melee. You win, period.
You do not need any fancy setup for this, you don't even need to sit in front of your computer. Target the Dopple, hit spacebar, go make yourself a drink.
